Lots of noise this morning over Claremount with 50
Pink Footed Geese flying over towards possibly Fly
Flatts Reservoir, took a drive down to Cromwell Bottom
Nature Reserve later in the morning but the weather was
foggy and damp so pics that I took not too clever.
       Cromwell Bottom-:

6 Jay, 1 Greater Spotted Woodpecker,
1 female Reed Bunting, 8 Long Tailed Tits,
2 Grey Heron, 1 Goldcrest, 1 Wren, 1 Song Thrush
plenty of the regular birds about.
       Garden-:
        12 Goldfinch, 2 Chaffinch, 1 Blue Tit,
        2 Collared Dove.

It's always special to get some pink feet.
John
Lucky to get the Pinkies Dave, Queensbury was fogged out.
I could hear them for ages and then there was a break in the fog and I spotted them, thought there was only 20+ until I counted em and it came to 50.
Well done to get the links Dave. Always good to get photos for a count and identity check. Canada's could also be in the move and other rarer geese anytime now.
Links should be pinks !!
