Adel Nature Reserve

With Calderdale being quiet bird life wise I decided to
pay a visit to Adel Nature Reserve that had been praised
by someone I chatted to and he was right to praise it, what
a cracking place lots going on even though it poured down
most of the day I will deffo be going again-:

Mute Swan,  BHGull, Common Gull, Tufted Duck, Mallard,
Blackbird, Dunnock, Wren, Chaffinch, Starling, Blue, Great,
Coal Tit, Crow, Jay, Mandarin Duck, GS Woodpecker, Long
Tailed Tit, Sparrowhawk, Red Kite, Buzzard, Goldfinch,
Bullfinch, Robin, Grey Heron, Coot, Moorhen, Kestrel,
          Stock Dove and Nuthatch.
30 species in one place so not a bad few hours, couldn't find
the Lesser Spotted Woodpecker that I was hoping for though.

Great photos Dave, especially the GSW on the tree stump and the Mandarine Duck.
