Sparrowhawk Attack and a Little Gem

Found a little gem of a place right on my doorstep and
never realised how good a spot it is Belgrave Woods I've
decided to call it, I saw a Crossbill last year here but still
managed to ignore it, as Ive been out the last couple of
days I decided to stay local this morning and I'm glad I did,
Blue Tit, Whitethroat, Willow Warbler, Chiff Chaff, Jay,
Pied Wagtail, Sparrowhawk, Kestrel, Wren, House Sparrow,
Great Tit, Robin, Blackbird, Wood Pigeon were seen and a
Green Woodpecker was heard, also Swallows & Swifts
    we're about.

Garden I had Goldfinch, Bullfinch, Chaffinch, Blue Tit,
Dunnock, Pigeon, Blackbird just before a Sparrowhawk
attack which nearly took my ear off, unbelievably fast and
swooped in low before rising above the privets and into the
feeders and nearby tree where it carried on the attack but
couldn't tell if there were any victims.

Like the P. Wag photo.
Looks like snow on the roof.
You might need to invest in a crash helmet Dave with the Sparrowhawk about.
Stay safe.

Cheers John, It was a close call mate, couldn't believe how fast it was.
How it seen the birds from so far off was amazing.
