Soil Hill early doors
I went up to Soil Hill in the early hours yesterday and
it wasn't one of my brightest ideas, pouring rain and
galeforce winds blowing my head off but I did manage
to glimpse a few birds who were also having a hard time
in the weather, photography was nearly impossible.
Birds seen were Curlew, MeadowPipit, Skylark, Snipe
and what looked like a Jacksnipe flew past at 100mph,
Pheasant, Jackdaw, Starling, Blackbird and a few small
birds but unable to ID even through binoculars.
oh and a Stock Dove.
Garden had Goldfinch, Dunnock, Robin, Starling, Blue Tit.
