Soil Hill + Fly Flatts

Had a walk around Soil Hill today and was quite a
good day, plenty of Meadow Pipits as per usual and
gull flyovers, 2 Kestrel, 2 Whitethroat, 8 Linnet, 2 what
I thought were Twite, Sedge Warbler going ballistic and a
couple of unknown, could be juvenile somethings, 6 Swift,
            1 Dunnock, 1 male Blackbird.

Next up to the Fly Flatts road and the quarries where there
must of been at least 50 Canada's, plenty of Meadow Pipits,
4 Curlew and chicks ( hope they make it) 4 Lapwing, 6 Swallows
1 Little Owl which was nice to watch while it was hunting.

Lovely pics Dave, I put lots of Nyger down this week, so it's only a matter of time before Twite come along - hope I live long enough to see them!!!
