Windy & Wild

Took a trip to Haworth this afternoon with Roy H in
what was supposed to be a nice day, when we got there
it was pouring down with rain and then to cap it off
hailstone which thankfully stopped so we could have
a walk around the woods & fields, where Nuthatch,
Greater Spotted Woodpecker, Pheasant, House Martin,
Swallow, Swift, Moorhen with chicks, Blue Tit, Robin,
Kestrel and Roe Deer were seen.

Evening I met up with some cracking lads Joe & Ian
from Keighley on a bleak and freezing Soil Hill which
wasn't the best of moves on a wild & windy evening,
nether the less as it was worth it in the end with a Hobby
flew over before heading towards Thornton, Wren, Swallow,
House Martin, Curlew and plenty of Wood Pigeon were about.
