Jerwood Hill

Stayed local today and took a stroll around Jerwood Hill for
an hour but nothing much about, but what was nice was seeing
a flock of House Sparrows about 20+ in the hedges as we don't
get many of them up here these days, 20+ Wood Pigeon and 100+
Jackdaw were in the fields, Buzzards were doing plenty of
calling but weren't seen and the local Little Owl was in hiding too,
Blue Tit, Robin, Blackbird & Dunnock were other birds seen on the
walk with plenty of distant Rabbits about. Muscovi Ducks, Greylag
and other farm geese were seen also.

Garden had Goldfinch, Bullfinch, Greenfinch, Dunnocks that were
doing a bit of courting and I think have a nest in the garden but
could be risky as Magpies, Jackdaws and Crows are always hanging
about, Collared Doves, Blackbirds, Blue Tit and also a hovering
    Kestrel in the back fields.
My evening walk produced 3 Roe Deer which was lovely to see.

Reports of Common Scoter at Cromwell Lake (AC) and of a
Sandwich Tern at Fly Flatts (BS).

Haha sulks if she's got to walk too much, I'll have to get her a pram.
