I'm back after a month and half of not getting out and about
what with illness, weather and other things so hoping my mojo
is back and longer days will give me a chance to get out with
the camera.
The garden has been busy with mainly Goldfinch and Chaffinch
but Bullfinch & Greenfinch keep popping up regular and then
disappearing and then popping up again, Wren and Robin have
been regular visitors along with the Collared Doves that always
happen to bring the Sarrowhawk flying through.
I've been disappointed in not seeing the Waxwings in Halifax
this year and had no reports of many being seen, Pink Footed
Geese are still flying over now and again but not many Whoopers.
Kestrel was hovering in the back field at dusk last night the first
time for a while but it seems that everything has been scarce of late.
A Fox has started to appear fairly often in the garden and around
the local fields which is always nice, but Deer and Badgers seem
to be lying low with all the bad weather.
I'd like to thank Jack Ibbetson for writing to me about my blog
it made me happy that people are reading and enjoying it.
A few pics from the past below until I get out and about again-:
These are taken at Swalesmoor and Pepper Hill.
