Rodley & Soil ( skylark ) Hill

Had a visit to Rodley Nature Reserve today, it really
is a little gem always plenty to see its a shame the light
                was poor for photography.

                2 Kingfisher
                1 Water Rail
                5 Gadwall, 2 Goosander,
                4 Heron, 1 Oystercatcher
lots of Tufted Ducks, Dabchicks, Canada's & Greylag's,
and other waterfowl, and 2 on the river of which I've not
got a clue what they were.
Reed Buntings galore, Chiff Chaffs very noisy and plenty
                of Wren's.

I then decided to have a wander up Soil Hill hoping to see
a Wheatear but only seen Meadow Pipits & Skylarks lots of
em and Lapwings which are always nice to see & hear,
bumped into Brian & Nigel while up there, they were on the same
search so hope they had more luck than me, it was nice to meet them
               and see them in person.

Cheers Brian and Dave, thought so but needed your expert advice to confirm as I've only ever seen males.
