Abysmal Day at the Office

Well I decided on a local route today and wish I hadn't
as it was abysmal for birdlife, I set off from Jerwood Hill
down the track to Shibden Mill Inn which produced a Robin,
6 House Martins, 2 House Sparrow and 2 very distant Buzzard,
I then walked up the mountain called Lee Lane towards the
Sportsman Inn by this time me and the dog were knackered,
anyway it produced a Dunnock, a distant Kestrel and a farm
Greylag Goose, when we reached the sportsman inn I took
the Hag Lane route back to the car at Horley Green, and this
walk produced 4 Swallows and a Meadow Pipit, lots of Crows,
Magpies, Wood Pigeon and Rabbits but avian wise it was poor.
