Cromwell Bottom 30/01/15

                          Birds seen at Cromwell Bottom NR today were-:
                            Lots of Great, Blue, Coal Tits,
                            4 Chaffinch
                            6 Bullfinch
                            4 Blackbirds
                            2 Robins
                            1 Jay
                            4 Cormorants
                            Flock of Lapwings
                            Flock of Geese but too high to tell what sort
                            All seen from the Birdwatch area
                            4 Moorhen and 3 Little Grebe up by the weir and two little grebe by the bottom
                            bridge.
                            1 Wren and 8 Tufted Duck on the bottom Lake.

Local Birds today 25/01/15

                             Regular birds in the garden today, finches, tits, blackbirds, robins and a kestrel in
                             the back field, then had a trip down to cromwell bottom NR where  i saw a couple
                             Reed Buntings and a Kingfisher a single Goosander and 3 Cormorants.

Quiet today because of the gale force winds a kestrel and the usual birds and a flock of geese flying over claremount,  the usual birds at cromwell bottom and a heron, cormorants and 7 goosanders swimming on the canal where i haven't seen them before-:
