Cromwell Bottom NR ,1st Nov

Went for a walk down Cromwell Bottom NR this morning and was quite a fruitful morning, the regular finches and small birds were there.

Great, Blue and Coal tits- plenty
4 Jays
8 Cormorant
4 Goosander
6 Canada Geese
2 Moorhen
3 Robins
2 Blackbirds
1 Kingfisher.

Had a morning out to Cromwell Bottom Nature Reserve and to Swalesmoor this afternoon it was a bit quiet at both area's and very windy and cold up Swalesmoor.

Cromwell Bottom-:

Robins
Great, Blue and Coal Tits
Jay
2 Cormorant
Moorhen
flock of LT'T's
2 Chaffinch
and a Dipper up by the weir spotted by Graham Haigh he's got better eyes than me.

Swalesmoor-:
A few Linnet & Twite
Lots of Crows, Jackdaws & Magpies, should call it crow city.

Swalesmoor & Claremount 04/10/2014

Had a walk up swalesmoor and around claremount today at about 4 to 6 o'clock but was very quiet-:

3 Kestrels
Flock of Twite & Linnets on first farm up ringby lane
2 Pied Wagtail
a few chaffinch and tits
2 mistle thrush? fighting
and regular corvids.

Cromwell Bottom 02/10/2014

Visited Cromwell Bottom today hoping to spot the kingfisher but had no joy, but there was still plenty of birds around.

Great Tits  a few Goldfinch
Blue Tits
Coal Tits
LTT's
Chaffinch
Robins
Wrens
Jay
the usual corvids and a flyover of canada Geese,
a lone Goosander and a lone Water Rail but too far away for a good shot.

Had a walk up Swalesmoor ( Ringby Lane) this evening to see if anything was about-:
