Took a walk down Coach Road today at least down
to the bottom of the hill where it got too boggy and
2 lesbians were kissing against the wall so I decided to
turn around and walk back up the hill, lots of Nuthatch
about but no sign of the elusive Lesser Spotted Woodpecker,
2 Wren, 10 Redwing, 2 LTT, 4 Dunnock, 2 Robin, Blue &
Great Tits a plenty, 1 Wood Pigeon, 4 Goldfinch and a few
I then took a trip down to Badger Lane and onto Sutcliffe
Wood where it was very dark and boggy I walked upto the
lake as far as the old brickworks are where their were Coot.
Moorhen and Mallard but away on the far side, nothing much
down there apart from 3 Jay, 1 Wren and a Buzzard high up.
When I got home reports came in of Brambling at Coach Rd
so was gutted I didn't spot them.
