Swalesmoor Crow Festival

                     Had a walk around Swalesmoor today and there was nothing
                     but Crows,Crows and more Crows 100's of em, oh and a
                     few Magpies and 1 Rook.
                                          A couple of Chaffinch at bottom of Ringby Lane
                     a few Great & Blue Tits down Hag Lane at back of Ski Slopes
                     not even a sight of the local Kestrel & Sparrowhawk.

                     Garden-:
             
                      8 Goldfinch
                      5 Greenfinch which was great to see
                      2 Collared Dove
                      2 Blackbirds
                      2 Chaffinch.

                   

Quiet Day Today

             Went down to Cromwell Bottom today and then had a walk around Claremount,
             It was very quiet at both venue's-:

               CBNR-:
       
              10 Bullfinch
              1 Chaffinch
              2 Jay
              2 Robin
              3 LTT
              The regular crowd of the tit family but not as many today
               1 Heron building nest above car park
               4 Dunnock
               4 Blackbird
               Fox seen by the weir by a friend.

                Claremount-:

                Crows, Crows and Crows oh and Magpies.
                a few Great & Blue tits.
                1 Kestrel.

Rodley Nature Reserve Visit

      Took a journey to Rodley Nature Reserve today, so here's a
      couple of pics, if anyone gets a chance to visit this place they should deffo
      give it a try.

CBNR getting Popular

                Walked around CBNR today and there was plenty of wildlife and plenty of people
                visiting the site, viewing area got really busy with a lot of new faces which is
                good to see and the birds came out in force around dinner time.

                 2 Little Grebe by bottom bridge

                 lots of the regulars at the viewing area

                 2 Coot on the lagoon
                 10 Cormorant on skiing lake
                 30 Canada Geese 2 Mute Swan and Mallards on canal.

Sunday Walk

                 Cromwell Bottom today was quite busy earlier on today with a lot
                 of the regular birds visiting the viewing area even had a robin eating bread off of my hand,
                 Mike Henshaw and Steve were also down there with their camera's.

                 1 male Reed Bunting
                 3 LTT
                 5 Robins
                 4 Blackbird
                  Lots of Great, Blue and Coal Tits

                  1 Warbler ? 6 Dunnock

                 Crows and Gulls Galore
                 2 Robins.

Sunday 15th Feb 2015

Had a walk down cromwell bottom today but was a bit quiet wildlife wise
and the lighting wasn't too good for photography-:

Cromwell Bottom viewing area-:
                                 6 Bullfinch
                                 3 Long Tailed Tit
                                 Great, Blue & Coal Tit ,Lots of em
                                 2 Chaffinch
                                 4 Blackbird
                                 4 Squirrel
                                 2 Robin
                                 3 Heron flying around the reserve ready to use
                                  their regular nesting spots.
                                 1 Whooper swan flying over and about 100 gulls
                                 6 Mallard
                                 1 Wren
                                 3 Teal
                                 1 Moorhen
                                 up by the Weir and 1 Dipper by bottom bridge.

                           Bird life was busy down at Cromwell Bottom NR today-:
                           8 Bullfinch
                           3 Robins
                           1 Jay
                           1 Greater Spotted Woodpecker
                           2 Sparrowhawk or the same one came diving through
                           the bird viewing area.
                           1 Chaffinch
                           4 Blackbird
                           Lots of Blue, Great, Coal Tits and 3 LTT
                           4 Squirrel all by bird viewing area.
                           Kingfisher, 5 Goosander on the river
                           Heron flying over
                           Weasel on path up by the weir.
